We hired a car/driver for a day of sightseeing near Cusco, in the Sacred Valley.
First we visited a sanctuary for rescued animals.
Near the town of Pisaq we hiked Incan ruins, spied ancient burial coves in a canyon wall, and guessed which way to go : )
The next site, Ollantaytambo, had steps so tall they made us feel like little Sam Mason scaling regular stairs!
