White Coat Ceremony

Andy starts veterinary medicine school this month!  He and Jenn have moved to Logan, Utah. The first two years of vet school are at Utah State University. The 3rd and 4th will be at Washington State Univ in Pullman, WA. He was in Washington last week for freshman orientation. Susan and I visited Thursday and Friday. We toured the school and animal hospital. We got to see him don his white coat. Way to go, Gudolph!

White coat ceremony

They had a great ceremony for the new students.

They promised Andy a coat with longer sleeves soon. Everything about the campus, facility, faculty seems wonderful. We are excited for Andy.

We drove to Moscow for dinner last night at a Peruvian restaurant. It was pretty good. It was really nice to sit and chat with Andy.
As we were driving around Pullman we noticed grizzly bears on a hillside. Apparently the school has a research and rehab facility. This morning we returned to see them more closely. They were in their enclosure this morning fighting over the bath toys.

We're back at the airport now. They have a book exchange here.

Almost like hay on wye!

Pullman Washington

We're in Pullman wa for Andys white coat ceremony/ initiation into vet school. He's been up here all week for orientation. We arrived this am.
This is Moscow Idaho from the plane as we were landing. We were sitting on the wrong side for Pullman. The towns are next to each other. It looks pretty with rolling hills and hay fields.

We took a tour of the facility and teaching hospital. It was very impressive. Everyone seems really nice.   I'm  very excited for Andy.
He and and Jenn have moved to Logan. He will do his first two years there then move up here to Pullman to finish his last two years. I'm really excited for them.

We flew here from Denver. Of course if we're in Denver we have to see our boys.

They are becoming quite the armload.

And a handful.

It was jacks first day of kindergarten. Very exciting. He said he made lots of friends including "two Logans". Sam is going through an explosion of vocabulary and learning. Everything is exciting. He loves trucks, bugs, and robots.
