Grumpy is magic

Jack was amazed that grumpy could turn lights on and off by snapping his fingers.
Jack also made a sheepturkey out of his Legos. What does a sheepturkey say? Baagle. Baagle of course.

Not nij thanksgiving

We had all the kids plus their dogs and one cat plus my mom here for thanksgiving. We didnt do much except eat and visit. It was great. Here are a few random pictures.

Us! At a baseball place!

We had dinner last night with an equipment rep and several other docs and staff. We went to a restaurant called Mia Francesca. It was really good home style food. The other docs were from Texas. There were also some researchers from Texas. It was interesting to share info. The restaurant was a bit north of town. Everyone was impressed that we took the L train. It was noisy but got us there quickly.
Afterwards Paul, the rep, insisted we go see wrigley stadium. So we did. In the rain. And we took a picture to prove that we were there.

Good meeting

We had a lot of fun with Amanda over the weekend. Visiting oak park was fantastic. The homes were interesting. I really like frank Lloyd wright style. Unity temple was especially beautiful. The church seemed to be designed for unity, worship and reverence.
Metamorphoses was famtastic. I was afraid it would be strange and silly since the play is staged in a pool. But it was very good and absorbing.
Today we sent Amanda to the airport and attended our meetings. Most of my classes were about new ways insurance companies are not going to pay. I did get some good info from vendors in the exhibit hall.

Not nij weekend

We get to baby sit this weekend. We dropped jacks parents off at the airport. Then "wow big planes". Lunch at chick filet a nap now pool time.

Quick nij

Quick trip to Denver to help Amanda with her post flood fixes. She picked out some beautiful carpet and wood floor.

Addiction problem

I rubbed a little cat nip on a new toy for Natasha last night. This morning I kept finding her rustling around on the kitchen counter. I couldn't figure out what she was doing. When I came home from work I discovered she had gotten the catnip oack out. Opened it and spread it all over the floor. I suspect she is hiding somewhere sleeping it off now.

What drought?!

We're having a great weekend in Denver. We started the day st the zoo. Jack thought the gibbons were hilarious While jack napped, Rachel will and I went to the cherry creek arts festival. We were only there for 20 minutes when we were caught in a deluge. Two inches in 20 minutes. The water was shin deep where we were stranded. Wet but it felt great. The rain was wonderful. Tonight we babysat jack. We went out to dinner swimming and then to McDonald's it was a fun day.
