We took a picture of this cute mother and daughter early in the morning. The mom was very enthusiastic but daughter did not want her picture taken. Typical for an 8-9 year old girl. People are the same everywhere.
We drove a town with many letters in it east of Cuzco. They had an beautiful little church. San Pedro has painted ceiling and walls. It's called the Sistine chapel of the Americas. Unfortunately no pictures are allowed inside and post cards don't do it justice. P
We stopped at some pre-inca ruins on the way back to Cuzco. This was a big town.

They used gypsum to make their interior walls white. Who knew sheet rock was used 1500 years ago?
This is a small portion of the town. You can see how extensive it is.
